The average price per hectare of land sold by the Agricultural Property
Agency (ANR) is now more than PLN 15,600 ? an increase of 14 pct since
the first quarter of the year. The price has grown by more than PLN
3,700 since the second quarter of 2008, up by around 32 pct. In the
second quarter, the ANR sold more than 21,000 plots ? mostly in the
regions of Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie. This
year ANR is looking to dispose of 104,000-ha of land. (Source: PAP)
