Cushman & Wakefield, the world leader in commercial property market, is pleased to announce that it has brokered the transaction of purchasing a development plot by Slough Estates. The 12.7-ha plot situated at ul.Kozielska in Gliwice close to economic zone, directly by A4 motorway and in close proximity to the planned A1 motorway.

On the purchased plot Slough Estates is to open modern logistics park. The completion of the first stage of the scheme is scheduled for the third quarter of 2007. It will involve the development of 25,000 sq.m. of modern warehouse space.

According to experts from C&W it is an ideal location for this type of development due to closeness of Silesian Conurbation and the border with Czech Republic and Slovakia. Well developed road infrastructure connecting the region with European transport network is an additional merit.

The localization of the park in Gliwice is Slough Estates' answer to the growing demand for modern warehouse space in the region of Upper Silesia.
