Antalis leases 51 200 sqm in ProLogis Park Błonie II Cushman & Wakefield Polska a leading global real estate services firm, has represented for Easytruck , part of Antalis Group in the negotiations of a lease agreement for 51 200 sq.m in ProLogis Park Błonie II. The Antalis corporation is the largest European distributor of communications support materials, with revenue reaching €3.6 billion.

Easytruck’s new facility is currently under construction at ProLogis Park Błonie II, a new logistics park located approximately 25 kilometres west of downtown Warsaw. The facility will serve as Easytruck’s primary warehouse, running logistic operations for Antalis and MAP, as well as providing a wide range of logistic operations for third-party customers from outside the group. Construction on the building, which can be expanded an additional 20,000 sqm, is planned for completion during first half of 2009.

In addition to ProLogis Park Błonie II, Antalis currently leases more than 33,000 sqm of space at other ProLogis facilities in the Netherlands and Poland.

“The new warehouse agreement signed with ProLogis makes it possible for Easytruck to consolidate all its logistic operations, currently run from three locations, into one. It will give us a much higher operational efficiency than before, while at the same time providing our customer with a superior quality of service. It is very important in the current market situation to optimise costs. I am convinced that it will be possible thanks to the scale of this contract to achieve high cost-effectiveness, which will then translate into very attractive prices of our services to the market. We are happy to have partnered in this enterprise with ProLogis, both because of its financial stability and the quality of its product,” said Radosław Krupniewski, Easytruck’s Operations Director.

“This is our second build-to-suit development at ProLogis Park Błonie II in the last 7 months, which confirms the strategic location of the park and demonstrates our ability to meet our customers’ needs. We are pleased to once again serve as Antalis’ facilities provider of choice,’’ said Maciej Madejak, ProLogis’ Market Officer Poland.

ProLogis Park Błonie II is a modern distribution centre located near national road No 2, which is part of the international road E30, connecting Western and Eastern Europe. The park currently comprises four buildings under construction totalling 112,450 sqm, two of which are fully leased to Antalis and Raben Polska.

ProLogis’ portfolio in Poland totals more than 2.1 million sqm of warehouse space across 25 logistics parks owned, managed or under construction. ProLogis’ operations focus in six regions of Poland: Northern Poland (Gdańsk, Szczecin), Western Poland (Poznań), Warsaw region, Central Poland (Piotrków Trybunalski, Rawa Mazowiecka), Upper and Lower Silesia (as of December 31, 2008).
