ProLogis, a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced that it has signed lease agreements for more than 4,500 square meters of warehouse space at ProLogis Park Wrocław with two customers in the furniture-making industry.

ProLogis customers at ProLogis Park Wrocław were joined by Katowickie Przedsiębiorstwo Meblowe Agata S.A., — one of the largest chains of furniture stores in Poland, known under the brand name AGATA MEBLE. The company has leased 2,286 square meters of warehouse space in Building One for distribution of its products throughout Poland.

In addition, Meble-Black Red White Sp. z o. o., already leasing 2,258 square meters in Building One of the ProLogis Park Wrocław, has extended its existing lease agreement. The customer will continue occupy the space for another long-term agreement. Cushman & Wakefield acted as the leasing agent for this transaction.

“Dynamic development of our sales in the Wrocław market required us to seek additional distribution space near the city. It was necessary to minimize the customers’ waiting time for the delivery of products offered by AGATA MEBLE stores,” explains Izabela Zięba-Praszkiewicz, Marketing & PR Manager from Katowickie Przedsiębiorstwo Meblowe Agata S.A. “Although we already own two central warehouses in Poland, we resolved to lease a third one. This decision was, undoubtedly, influenced by the expansion of AGATA MEBLE chain, which resulted in sales growth and the need to increase our inventories. Our analysis indicated that lease would be a simpler and more cost-effective solution than constructing the facility as our own investment.”

The Park consists of eight buildings, offering customers more than 167,000 square meters of modern warehouse space.

ProLogis’ portfolio in the Wrocław region comprises four distribution parks (14 buildings) totalling over 371,000 square meters of warehouse space.
