Panattoni Europe, the leader of the warehouse space market in Poland, has announced that it has finalised a contract to develop a build-to-suit (BTS) facility for Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific (CPP), a breakfast cereal manufacturer, subsidiary of Nestle and General Mills Inc. The developer will build an approximately 30-thousand-square-metre warehouse near Toruń for the Customer.

Panattoni Europe has signed a contract for yet another large build-to-suit investment. The customer is Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific, a manufacturer and distributor of breakfast cereals and cereal products. The new distribution centre, Panattoni Park Toruń, totalling approx. 30,000 m2, will be erected in Grębocin, in the Lubicz commune, where one of the production facilities making breakfast cereals and cereal bars is located. The facility to be occupied exclusively by CPP will comprise a warehouse (29,410 m2) and office space (approx. 900 m2).

- The new warehouse in Grębocin, built to the specifications and needs of CPP, will certainly facilitate and improve services provided to our business partners at home and abroad – says Jarosław Szczepanowski, CPP’s PR Manager. From CPP’s production plants, located in Toruń and Lubicz, breakfast cereals are delivered to many countries around the world, including Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, as well as the Baltic states. CPP also exports its products to Russia, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and the Persian Gulf.

The investment’s general contractor is Goldbeck. The warehouse for the cereals manufacturer is scheduled for commissioning at the end of this year. It will be a high storage warehouse, equipped with automated distribution systems. The lease contract signed with Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific has been concluded for 10 years and is extendable.

Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific is a manufacturer of NESTLÉ breakfast cereals. The company was established in 1990 through privatising Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Ziemniaczanego in Toruń, whose history went back to the 19th century. Since 1994, Toruń-Pacific has been a subsidiary of Cereal Partners Worldwide, a joint venture company founded by Nestlé S.A. and General Mills Inc.
