Panattoni Europe, one of the biggest industrial space developers in Europe, has informed about signing a development contract for the delivery of a build-to-suit project at Panattoni Park Prague-Airport. For GM Electronic, an electronics producer, Panattoni will deliver 5,300 sq m of industrial space.

Panattoni Europe is proud to announce the further expansion of it’s flagship investment Panattoni Park Prague Airport in the Czech Republic. The new client, GME, will occupy space at building no 8, which construction starts in June 2010. The facility will serve as a distribution center for the Czech Republic. The agreement is a BTS transaction including the land sale to the customer. Currently the Panattoni Park Prague-Airport consists of 3 buildings totaling 50,000 sq m of warehouse space. The potential development of the park comprises 8 buildings encompassing altogether 160,000 sq m.

New roundabout in Dobrovíz
Additionally to the BTS transaction, Panattoni announces the construction of a new roundabout at the park. Zbyněk Laube, Head of Development comments: "At the end of 2009 we have obtained the official permit for the construction of the roundabout, which will become the central access point to the park." The new infrastructure will significantly improve the park’s accessibility from the R6 motorway and together with the existing road will form the Dobrovíz bypass. The new infrastructure investment will become an important part of the Central Bohemian regional road network and is fully financed by Panattoni. The time frame is to finalize the construction by the end of June 2010.

Panattoni Park Prague-Airport
The 40-ha area is situated in the close neighborhood of the International airport, Prague Ruzyne, by the R6 motorway exit (Prague – Karlovy Vary), connected with the trans-European route E48 in Germany. The park lies only 20 km away from the center of Prague and is excellently connected with the city center by public transport. The major tenants of the park are: logistics services giant - Ceva Logistics, Czech logistics operator - Čechofracht, Domo Service, Time Out and Stokvis Tapes. Panattoni Park Prague-Airport is 95% leased.
