ProLogis, a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today that it has signed lease agreements totaling 105,000 square meters of modern warehouse space at ProLogis distribution parks in Southern and Central Poland (Piotrków). The transactions include both new leases and lease extensions.

New leases signed recently, totaling 15,180 square meters, include:

• 4,980 square meters at ProLogis Park Chorzów leased to Kanlux SA, one of the largest and oldest Polish companies in the lighting industry;
• 4,800 square meters of modern warehouse and office space at ProLogis Park Dąbrowa leased to Rhenus Contract Logistics, a provider of comprehensive logistic services;
• 2,800 square meters at ProLogis Park Wrocław leased to DTA, an organization providing comprehensive customs and logistics services;
• 2,600 square meters at ProLogis Park Wrocław III leased to DS Smith Polska, a member of the international DS Smith holding and one of the leading manufacturers of corrugated cardboard and packaging, operating in Poland since 1971.

Lease agreements, totaling 89,700 square meters, were extended with:

• Carrefour, Europe’s largest and the world’s second largest retailer occupying a total of 67,000 square meters at both ProLogis Park Będzin and ProLogis Park Piotrków distribution centers;
• ALDI, a leading retail company with more than 4,000 outlets in Europe, occupying 16,300 square meters at ProLogis Park Chorzów;
• Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska, a provider of top quality logistic solutions, occupying 3,400 square meters at ProLogis Park Wrocław;
• Impel S.A., the only stock-listed leading provider of services for public and commercial organizations, occupying 3,000 square meters at ProLogis Park Wrocław.
