SEGRO, a leading industrial space developer in Europe, started the construction of its first small business unit facility in Poland. The project emerging in Lodz is dedicated for clients searching for a modern, highly flexible business space that guarantees both a convenient access to goods and presentable surrounding. Its completion is forseen for the end of 2010.

The construction of the SEGRO’s sbu investment in Lodz was launched in August. The investment is being built on a 6.7 hectare site in Lodz within the area of the already existing Tulipan Park logistic centre. It will provide 3,000 sq m of the modern warehouse, office and light industrial space. The smallest leasable modules within the facility will be just 750 sq m. By comparison, the minimal leasable space for big box warehouses comes to approximately 2,500 sq m.
