Prologis Leases 15,000 Square Metres in Upper Silesia Region ( 2011-11-18 )

Prologis Inc., the leading global owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, announced today that it has signed four lease agreements totaling 15,000 square meters of space in four distribution parks in its Upper Silesia portfolio.

The most recent lease transactions include:
• 4,600 square meters in a lease agreement extension. The customer Danone, a worldwide leader in fresh dairy products, bottled water, as well as baby food & special medical purposes food will occupy Building 6 in Prologis Park Chorzów.

• 4,500 square meters leased to ThyssenKrupp Energostal, one of the leading distributors of steel and plastic products in Poland. Building 2 within Prologis Park Sosnowiec is currently 100% leased.

&bull 4,000 square meters leased to ABRA, a nationwide chain of furniture stores in Poland, subsidiary of Steinhoff International Holdings Limited, integrated retailer of furniture and household goods operating in Europe, Pacific Rim and southern Africa, employing approximately 55 000 employees worldwide.. The space has been leased in Building 6 within the Prologis Park Dąbrowa.

&bull 1,920 square meters in Building 2 within Prologis Park Będzin II - a lease extension was signed with SDU Technika Złączeniowa, a supplier of fittings and fixtures to customers in the automotive, mining, steel and construction industries across Europe.
